The Department of Material Science and Engineering is newly established in 2022 based on the former Department of Chemistry, which was found in 2006. Presently, the Dempartment hosts 20 staff members, 255 students. The young department with all staff is dedicated to chemistry and material teaching and research and now have harvested achievement in new energy materials, environment friendly materials, fine chemicals, organic synthesis, functional nano-materials and optoelectronic devices, hazardous material detection, safety transportation of dangerous chemicals and so on.
